People Photography, The Environmental Portrait.

The People photography is lovely subject  and i love so much people photography. Photographs of people can be simply categorised into two groups: portraits and environmental portraits. Portraits are close-up studies of a subject’s face.  Environmental portraits include the subject’s surroundings as an integral part of the image, providing a context for the portrait.

Environmental portraits add context and allow the viewer to learn something about the person. I mostly like environmental portrait shot. This shot i take in fabrication workshop at evening around 7.oo pm. There are no light arrangement and i took this in gas welding flame which you can see subject face. It’s very difficult when your subject in very low light. but my full frame sensor camera like CANON 5D Mark II’s  high ISO and fast lens like f2.8 work better that situation. Here are i present some Environmental Portrait shot.

  1. I think the most obvious and highlighted element here is the lighting. I think you have made a great adjustment with your ISO and shutter speed. The photos are really great and the edges are so sharp.

    keep it up..

  4. I absolutely agree with you. Static portraits sometimes fail to convey the persons personality. Environmental portraits are so much more effective. You do a fine job at it. Speechless. Keep up the good work. 🙂
